Leon and Marcia have been married 37 years and have two sons, Joel and Aaron. Though blessed with many positive memories, loss has dotted their marriage path.
Together, they have brought multiple learnings into their lives to foster a healthy, loving relationship.
The McGinnis's have been involved with a MEG since the early 90's........and have presented workshops at church. Leon teaches at Georgia Tech and Marcia taught in elementary school for several years. She started SHARE Atlanta: Pregnancy and Newborn Loss Grief Support in 1984 as a result of the death of their 2 day old son and two previous losses during pregnancy. Marcia has given numerous grief workshops through the years.
They have kept the love and "togetherness" in their marriage through MEG and ACME workshops and learnings, traveling around the world, enjoying their sons, visiting with friends and family, church activities, quiet evenings, and weekend getaways.
