Secretary Couple
Zack and Leigh Martin
Zack and Leigh have participated in Better Marriages since they were newlyweds in 2004. The skills learned through Better Marriages have helped them be intentional and proactive in their marriage. As a clergy couple and parents of two children, they know the importance of prioritizing their marriage. They are both participants and leaders in marriage enrichment workshops hosted by Better Marriages of Georgia.

Event Logistics Coordinators
Sylvia and Eddie Robertson
We are Eddie and Sylvia Robertson. We have participated in marriage enrichment since being invited to our first group in Calgary, Alberta, in 1976. Our first mail in Georgia was from the group now known as Better Marriages of Georgia. In our years as leaders and leader trainers, we have been privileged to have couples share with us the triumphs and trials of their marriage journeys. Their authenticity has touched our hearts and encouraged us to deal with similar issues in our own lives. They have helped us to grow, and we are still growing. We continue to be intrigued with the idea of intentionally growing our marriage.

Past President Couple / Event Coordinators
Greg and Lydia Meadows
Greg and Lydia have participated in Better Marriages for almost 25 years. Greg is a United Methodist pastor and Lydia is a retired educator. While moving through the stages of life: 3 children, careers, empty nesters, and now the sandwich generation, Better Marriages is considered their cornerstone for skills and support.
Giving back to this community is a priority for Greg and Lydia. They have participated and led Better Marriages enrichment small groups where they've lived. After becoming active on the BM board, they have served in multiple roles, as well as, led workshops at several getaway weekends. "So many have provided a place for us to grow in our relationship, we want to give it forward," says the couple.

Communications Couple
Nathan and Kim Heinlein
Kim and Nathan Heinlein have been married for over 20 years, and have been active with Better Marriages since 2003, starting only 8 months after they were married. In fact, Nathan had the privilege of growing up watching lifetime Better Marriages members Roberta and Terry Heinlein model what a “better marriage” looks like. Kim and Nathan’s purpose is to repay that favor by modeling marriage growth for others.
Kim is an industrial engineer turned middle school science teacher, while Nathan is a forensic structural engineer. They are most proud of their two teenaged sons. They enjoy travel, baseball, and consequently travel baseball with their boys.

Treasurer Couple
Christine and Bob Crutchfield
Bob and Christine Crutchfield have been married for 21 years and have served on the Better Marriages of Georgia board for over a decade, including as the treasurer couple since 2017. Because of how much BMG has strengthened their own marriage, they continue to serve so other couples can experience the same blessing. They have three biological children and have been foster parents since 2018. Bob works in data and technology, and Christine teaches 2nd grade.
